2016 MCIA Capitol Day

Please join us for the annual MCIA Capitol Day on Wednesday, February 10th! 

This is our industry's best opportunity to be face-to-face with Mississippi House and Senate members and other government officials who make decisions that impact our businesses.  .

9:30AM Arrive at Capitol
9:45AM Gather at Capitol Building: 4th Floor Senate Gallery
MCIA Members will be welcomed by a Senate & a House member.
10:45AM MCIA Membership Meeting - Old Capitol Inn - Gala Ballroom
11:45AM Lunch
House & Senate members and other invited guests arrive for buffet style lunch. Gala Ballroom


Shuttle Transportation:
There will be a shuttle available going back and forth between the Capitol and the Old Capitol Inn between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.  We encourage you to meet at the Capitol at 9:45 am and meet with a member or two from the House and Senate and then catch a ride over to the Old Capitol Inn for lunch.

Directions to Capitol:
The Mississippi State Capitol is located at 501 N. West Street. Jackson, MS. Take the I-55 to High Street exit (exit 96B). Go west on High Street toward downtown Jackson. The Capitol is located between President and West Streets.

Directions from Capitol to Old Capitol Inn The Old Capitol Inn is located at 226 N State St, just blocks from the Capitol, between Amite and Yazoo Streets.
