SUMMARY:Winter Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Mississippi Concrete Association’s Winter Meeting is scheduled to be held on March 1-2\, 2023. The Hall of Fame Banquet will be on Wednesday evening where we will honor and recognize an MCA member who has made significant contributions to the concrete industry. Reunion Country Club will be the venue for the banquet and all meetings will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn. Both are located in Madison. \nMeeting Information\nWinter Meeting registration fee is $125 for MCA members and $85 for Spouse/Guest. Price includes reception\, Hall of Fame Banquet and breakfast. Spouse/Guest must be registered to attend the banquet. The deadline to register or sponsor is February 20\, 2023. \nREGISTER NOW \nHotel Information\nMCA has a small block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in Madison at the rate of $124. To make hotel reservations call 601-420-0442 and use group code MCA to receive our group rate. Reservations must be made on or before February 17\, 2023. DESCRIPTION:This class covers field testing of fresh concrete.  ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician\, Grade 1 certification covers the followingstandard test methods: \n\nASTM C172   Sampling                                      \nASTM C143   Slump\nASTM C138   Unit Weight\nASTM C173   Air Content Volumetric Method            \n\nThis two-day course involves a full day of classroom instruction. The second day will start with a written test followed by theperformance test.
