Mississippi Concrete Association (MCA) has been on a roll these past couple of years, being recognized as the National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA) “State Association of the Year” and me being recognized as “Promoter of the Year”. All these are great awards for MCA, but we need to have a consistent vehicle to communicate this great news to you, the MCA membership, so you will know all these great things!
We are excited to reintroduce MCA’s IN THE MIX monthly email newsletter. The purpose of IN THE MIX is to keep you informed of what has happened around the state of Mississippi with MCA, its members, stories of interest to the concrete industry. In addition, it will provide you direct access to our events calendar, upcoming certification opportunities and more.
One other thing we are excited about is MCA taking a bigger and consistent footprint in social media. Each week, MCA will post educational information on the advantages of concrete our social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and the MCA app. You can also find IN THE MIX featured on these platforms and as well as an archive of the newsletter on our website.
MCA is excited about Summer Convention coming up July 12-15, 2021 at the beautiful Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Miramar, Florida. Bring the whole family to the beach and enjoy good family time and fellowship with your fellow MCA members and their families. It’s a great opportunity to network and get to know people better!
