Mississippi Concrete Association (MCA), in partnership with the Southeast Cement Promotions Association (SCPA) have presented each Engineering student at Mississippi’s University with the 16th edition of Portland Cement Association’s (PCA) “Design and Control for Concrete Mixtures” This will be a valuable resource to the Engineers while they are in school and will use in their work life after college. The following Universities received these books:
- Jackson State University
- Mississippi State University
- University of Mississippi
- University of Southern Mississippi
One parent wrote about the book being given to her daughter, “Our daughter Rachel is a junior civil engineering major at Mississippi State. She sent us a text that said: “We all need to love on the Mississippi Concrete Association because they gave everyone in my class a free textbook!!!!” What a nice thing for an organization to do!! Thank you! That’s actually better than a scholarship because you make an impact on more students!
